The Big Picture Art Show

The idea behind the big picture is to bring together a broad range of talent and mediums. By looking at how art has meandered, evolved and branched new ways of being within culture and industry, we can see something that is more a part of our lives than we may realise, art is everywhere and it is everything. 'The Big Picture' is a collective of young and gifted individuals each displaying a collection of their best works for all the world to see.

James Jenkins has specialized in painting abstract and cosmological art over the years at times taking a neo expressionist approach to his work. James's work is a mixture of peaceful and sometimes moody modern art bursting with colour. His work has been described as “..a surprise to the eye with every viewing.”

Ian ware is an accomplished photographer. On his travels across the UK, Europe, USA, and Australia, each photo captures a moment in time as it was found, without any computer enhancements. When Ian turns his talents to the live music scene the energy and excitement of a crowd and the musicians is crystallised through his lens. There is a story behind every piece.

Kevin Pickett whose imagination is as bold and as sharp as his mark on the page, creates surreal and abstract graphic works that stagger the viewer.

Josie Davis playfulness with shape and light in her sculpture is clear to see. With confidence she commands the metal work of her sculpture in a way that never fails to neglect the elegant nature of the organic, and combines this with a great understanding of the tribal world.

Stewie Passmore, the mad comic genius. Combines humour and a keen eye for precise inking with a punk/street expression. Stewie's work will get you smiling and connect with the inner child in us all.
